Tim Butler from Innovation Visual spoke at the Haslemere Chamber of Commerce 'Making the Most of Your Digital Presence' Networking & education event on Wednesday evening. Also speaking was Steve Baker from Step Bak Copywriting talking about blog writing and copywriting for websites - a vital area in our opinion. Philip Clifford-Brown was showcasing the new Haslemere Chamber website as well as talking about website development in general. The whole evening was organised by Chamber Committee member, Bruce Wallace founder of Haslenet IT, Haslemere's premier IT Support company.
Tim's talk is entitled Getting found naturally – Essentials of search engine optimisation was well received and you can download the take-home summary document with all the SEO tips and useful links mentioned in the talk.
The turn out for the event was very good and business owners had a chance to network with each other and by the end of it they were talking about exchanging links on each others websites to help with SEO. The range of companies represented was diverse from professional services through to our favourite Nepalese restaurant and take away, the Gurkha Durbar.
