Earlier this month, we sent Javier and Vanessa from our MarTech team to Boston to attend HubSpot’s annual conference, INBOUND. Our purpose at INBOUND 2023 was clear: to gather knowledge, strategies, and best practices that would propel how our clients use HubSpot to new heights as well as networking with our international clients and the HubSpot community. We believe in offering our clients nothing but the best, and INBOUND provided us with an unparalleled opportunity to access HubSpot’s latest tools, techniques, and trends which will support our clients with achieving their digital marketing goals.
In this blog, we'll take you through our experience at INBOUND 2023 where we will share our insights, highlights, and takeaways poised to shape the future of how we use HubSpot for ourselves and our clients.
Our Main Takeaways
HubSpot’s Powerful AI Tools: Shaping the Future of Marketing and Sales
One of the standout moments at INBOUND 2023 was HubSpot's announcement of their AI tools that are set to support how marketing and sales teams work in HubSpot. These tools included campaign and content assistants, agents, predictive forecasting, reporting insights, and so much more. The potential they hold for streamlining processes and enhancing decision-making is truly exciting.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a game-changer in the world of marketing and sales, and HubSpot's commitment to harnessing its power was evident throughout the conference. As we dove deeper into the topic during various sessions, it became clear that AI is no longer a buzzword but a tangible force that's transforming how businesses engage with their customers.
It’s worth noting that whilst many of HubSpot’s tools are using the same technology as the likes of ChatCPT, HubSpot have worked to develop something that is going to irrevocably change how we work with a CRM. By harnessing the data that’s already in your CRM, your AI assistants become exponentially more powerful.
Sales Hub Transformation: Empowering Sales Teams
The conference also unveiled exciting new features and updates that will revolutionise how sales teams work within HubSpot. We gained insights into how HubSpot aims to empower sales teams by introducing features such as a new object ‘Leads’, improved analytics and predictive forecasting, AB testing in sequences and enhanced collaboration tools such as the new prospecting area. Please note, these features will not be available at all Sales hub levels.
Moreover, the emphasis on customer-centricity was a recurring theme. The notion that successful sales is not just about closing deals but about building long-lasting relationships resonated deeply with us. We're excited to incorporate these principles into our client interactions moving forward.
Elevating ABM (Account-Based Marketing) Strategy
With the knowledge gained at INBOUND 2023, we're gearing up to fine-tune our account-based marketing (ABM) strategies. Our goal is to deliver an even more targeted and personalised outreach for our clients, supported by insights and strategies shared at the conference.
ABM has been on our radar for a while, but INBOUND 2023 shed new light on how we can take it to the next level. The importance of understanding our target accounts on a deeper level and crafting even more personalised content journeys.
The session on ABM strategy not only reinforced its effectiveness but also provided practical tips for implementation. We left INBOUND 2023 with a clear roadmap for refining our ABM approach and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Smarter CRM: Enhancing User Experiences
The latest updates to the HubSpot CRM promise to take customisation to a whole new level, thereby enhancing the way users and teams engage with the platform. These improvements are bound to make users’ daily work more efficient and effective. During INBOUND 2023, we had the opportunity to dive deep into the CRM updates and explore how they could benefit our team and our clients.
One key takeaway was the enhanced flexibility in customising individual contact views and CRM properties and these customisations will allow us to tailor our clients’ CRM to specific user and team’s needs, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience.
Personal Highlights
Beyond the enlightening sessions and product announcements, INBOUND 2023 provided an opportunity to forge meaningful connections. Meeting our international clients from Itonics and Talogy in person was a truly special experience. We also had the pleasure of catching up with our dedicated channel account manager, Niamh Gallen, who always offers us invaluable insights and support.
We had the opportunity to hear from and meet Yamini Rangan, the HubSpot CEO, as well as Kyle Jepson, the first-ever HubSpot evangelist, both of whom were inspiring! Another highlight was attending a session led by Courtney Sembler, the director of HubSpot Academy.
We also got to hear from Reece Witherspoon, Steven Bartlett, Derek Jeter and went to a comedy show from John Mulaney! The team cannot wait for Inbound 24!
