Tim Butler will be speaking on search engine optimisation matters as part of Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce Event on the 27th January 2016. The event to be held at Haslemere Museum is open to members and non-members of Haslemere Chamber of Commerce and features three speakers. In addition to Tim Butler there will be Steve Baker from Step Bak Copywriting talking about blog writing and copywriting for website. Philip Clifford-Brown will be showcasing the new Haslemere Chamber website as well as talking about website development in general.
Tim's talk is entitled Getting found naturally – Essentials of search engine optimisation will talk about how we go about the process of effective search engine optimisation that delivers meaningful results for businesses. With 3.5 billion searches on Google every day a company’s presence on Google and other search engines can make a huge difference to its success. Tim explains, in jargon-free language the mechanics behind appearing in the natural search rankings. Also known as the organic search results, your company’s appearance is defined by a range of factors, not how much you are willing to pay Google. This talk takes you from principles to practical application so that you can help your own business get its website found more, naturally. A take home cheat-sheet will also be provided.
Each talk is expected to be about 20 minutes long and there will be a question and answer session at the end. As an added bonus there will be networking before and after, with doors opening at 6.15pm for a 7pm start. This gives people ample time to meet other business owners from the area.
