Innovation Visual have been asked to be part of Waverley Council’s ‘Ask the Expert’ event on the 29th September 2015 in Haslemere. The Ask The Expert Event is provided free for small businesses and those who are looking to start a small business by Waverley Council. By bringing together a range of experts into one place on one night business owners can benefit from asking questions on a wide range of important business subjects. The event is a chance for business people to talk informally to local experts about starting a business or expanding a business, as well as an opportunity to network and share ideas with other local entrepreneurs.

The results of a survey (2015), which involved 27,000 participants worldwide, has declared that Google has now become more trusted than traditional media sources.

Results within the survey quoted that online search engines, such as Google, are now more trusted than traditional media. This came from the finalised results of the survey, which announced that 72% of people thought Google was easier to trust, comparative to 64% for traditional sources.

As part of our on-going commitment to minimise the environmental impact of our work we are happy that our solar array has just been switched on. We already heat our office with renewable energy (wood) but with the number and power of our computer systems our electricity consumption is significant. We monitored our usage and have been taking steps to minimise power drain such as turning off systems when not in use. Based on the power consumption figures the new solar array that we have fitted should generate on average more power than the office consumes on an average day, making us a net contributor to the grid. Its rather good to see the meter spinning backwards when the sun is out.

Google Webmaster Tools has been a large influence to the Google Search optimization community over the past 10 years, offering outstanding tools that help users to monitor their websites presence within Google’s Search Engine.

June 2015 marks the third anniversary of Innovation Visual working with international enterprise technology business, BrightStarr. We were originally appointed to work on the paid search campaigns and develop an organic search engine strategy. Now, three years later, we’ve successfully worked together to expand our digital marketing advice and consultancy into other key areas.
